first to bloom - a tulip, helleborus, a pair of daffodil in buds
i nupped my scarf just to try the technique . the stitch is comb st. then at the decrease points i k1,yo,k1,yo,k1, then on the next row purled all 5 sts all at once. had no problem purling 5 sts as i worked them rather loosely.

a scarf a started using - superior from filatura di crossa, very soft! the sts are different sts from my knitting books.
