cardigans

above cardi- i used Domino knitting
an old cardi i knitted fron anny blatt pattern i knitted it in pieces then seamed
a pattern from medrith glover from Knitter's mag neat constrcuction & seamless
a shrug cardi from Knitting mag.. i constructed it seamless yarn is reynold's bulky lopi yarn
this is just a raglan seamless cardi

sweaters for my husband

a crochet skirt a circular capelet using Lion brand yarn , homespun
a poncho made using artyarn tutorial made in one piece i employed temporary cast on & joined using garter stitch kitchener's stitch
a poncho with garter st edging applied after the piece was completed
this is the dress my daughter wore at her prom. she liked it . the crochet motif was taken from an old McCall's magazine.
here is a vest i worked from a free pattern from Lion brand using Kitchen cotton. i edged it with picot
a Kaffe Fasset carpet vest
an alpaca vest i worked from a pattern
another alpaca vest from a commercial pattern. the center cable was fun to knit
a snood from Priscilla Gibson- Roberts in Knitter's mag , It was my first lace project. my daughter wore it as a skirt!

a sweater for my Hubby, yarn was from Knit Picks -Andean silk ...& another one made with aurora 8 merino this fairisle is from Alice Starmore i worked it during the operation desert storm while watching TV.. i was mostly listening tho'

a crochet dress i worked from an old Mon Tricot pattern for my daughter .. she never wore it..i made it from a rayon yarn .she said it looked like an armor .. oh well i can only try ,the thing weighs probably a ton..maybe someday i'll rework it in another yarn...

this scarf (notice the cat checking it) employs the shadow knitting.. where at certain angles you will see figures embeded in the knitting see above pic

a circular shrug vest free from the internet
a baby sweater i made .i think i started from theright sleeve to the right neck edge down the front around the right front edge ,round the back, round the left front edge, then up th left front edge then to the left sleeve. of course, cast on temporerily. then i marked 4 double decrease points , until the decreases butted into each other. did some short rows to shape the sleeves.worked the back sleeves & back of sweater then united them using garter kitcheners stitch at the top of the sleeves. All this inspired by Elizabeth Zimmerman.finally I-corded the edge after working the collar.

yoke sweatwers

i like working these yoke sweaters i think they are pretty

this yoke sweater is an Elizabeth Zimmerman design, i think i found the pattern from an old knitting magazine
