I knitted this circular shawl from a doily pattern by Coats & Clark booklet "Laces to knit, crochet & tat" book no.317 c 1985. Above picture - shawl being blocked & below before blocking. The shawl measures 60 inches diameter, the centerpiece is 22.5 inches in diameter worked in crochet cotton.I used fingering wool & US needle #7 circular. I added more rows as edging.

Wow! Just found your blog from "Free Knitting Pattern of the Day." Love this shawl! Fabulous work! I just did Hemlock Ring, so I really appreciate your hard work! Love those rhodies, too!
